DVD - Emergency Preparedness Workshop

Publication Date:
2008-11-03

Emergency preparedness is front of mind in universities and colleges these days. The tragic incidents of Dawson College and Virginia Tech have driven home the vulnerability of campuses and the importance of comprehensive emergency plans. It is important that your university be prepared in the case of an emergency.

Following our sold-out two day workshop Emergency Preparedness on Canadian Campuses last spring, CAUBO compiled the presentations on an easy to use DVD. This DVD contains the workshop presentations, audio or video, and other templates. These sessions will provide you with some of the necessary insight and tools required to put in place or improve your emergency preparedness plan.

Sample presentations include:

  • Leading Into Recovery- The Dawson College Experience by Richard Fillion, Director General, Dawson College
  • A Legal Perspective on Managing the Threat of On-Campus Violence by Daniel J. Michaluk, Associate, Hicks Morley Barristers and Solicitors
