This constituent group offers an opportunity to those who have Internal Auditing functions as part of their responsibilities to exchange on their situation, their experiences, the issues they face, etc. An increasing number of institutions are creating a position of Internal Auditor. A national committee with representatives from each region (Atlantic, Québec, Ontario and the West) was created in 2003 to identify the needs of internal auditors and to plan various activities to address those needs. A discussion group also facilitates the exchange of information among Internal Auditors.
