• The "best available rate" means you will receive any special rate being offered if it is lower than the "University" rate listed here.  This could prove to be as much as $10 less per day!

• To stay on top of current specials, it pays to book directly using the supplier's 1-800 number and quote the CAUBO Reservation number when making enquiries.

• The company offers unlimited kilometers/mileage at all participating locations.  Please be sure to check with the vendors for specific details.

For Budget Rent a Car rentals by B.C. institutions in the Province of B.C., government rates apply. Please quote MSO # 134319 at the time of rental.

• The following "University" rates are effective 1 October 2006 to 30 September 2011.

• "University" rates have been negotiated for the use of faculty, staff, and students (over 21 years of age) travelling for business purposes.

• Rates do not include taxes, airport fees, environmental fees, parking, other surcharges, optional service fees, moving violation tickets, fuel and damages to vehicle.

• Rates include Liability Insurance at the Provincial legislative minimum requirements in Canada and State legislative minimum requirements in the United States.

• Some unlimited mileage exceptions and/or city surcharges may apply. Please be sure to check with the vendors for specific details

• Check with vendors for special weekend rates.

• Weekly Rates will be computed at six (6) times the daily Rate.
• Monthly Rates will be computed at twenty-four (24) times the daily Rate.
• Grace period on rental returns in thirty (30) minutes beyond the minimum twenty-four (24) hour rental day, after which an hourly charge will apply (up to three (3) hours) until this surcharge is equal to, or exceeds the daily Rate.
• Best Rates access if available including promotional Rates that are lower than the Agreement Rates.

• International rates shall be subject to a discount of no less than ten percent (10%), and up to twenty-five percent (25%) off of the published rates.
