Agreements: Customs Brokerage Services Supply Agreements

The CAUBO National Procurement Committee is pleased to announce the finalization of two new service agreements for the supply of Customs brokerage services which are now available to the CAUBO Membership.

Agreements are in place for the supply of both Canadian and U.S. Customs Brokerage services as well as distribution/consolidations services with the following two vendors:

•   Rates - Thompson, Ahern & Co. Ltd. ( PDF - 587 KB)
•   Rates - UPS SCS Inc. ( PDF - 965 KB)

Services available:

• Canadian Customs Brokerage
• US Customs Brokerage
• Worldwide distribution and transportation services

UPS SCS has the largest distribution of office and terminal locations in the USA and Canada and will manage business affairs on a regional basis.

Thompson Ahern & Co. Ltd. will manage the import and export activities of the Canadian Universities with limited national and US office locations. Where practicable, regional representation will be engaged. Otherwise, central release and accounting will occur from Mississauga Ontario.

Customization of service offerings to meet each member's needs can be negotiated with both vendors by CAUBO member.
