This
survey was commissioned by the Canadian Association of University
Business Officers (CAUBO) in 1999. Its purpose was to measure the
extent of accumulated deferred maintenance (ADM) on Canadian university
campuses. The consulting firm of RMC Resources Management Consultants
Ltd. assisted CAUBO in undertaking a survey, interpreting its findings
and preparing a report.
The survey findings are
based on data from 51 universities, which together account for approximately
87.5 percent of Canada's total university enrolment.
