CAUBO’s 2021 Annual Conference Call for Content Proposals is now open!

Proposals accepted now through Friday, October 23, 2020

CAUBO builds the capacity of leaders in the higher education sector by connecting them with peers and information enabling insights into effective practices, and new and different perspectives.

After the disappointment of having to cancel our 2020 conference in response to the global pandemic, we are pleased to announce that we have begun planning for CAUBO 2021—and we want you and your institution to be part of it!

At this time, CAUBO is planning to hold a hybrid conference in 2021. We will closely monitor the higher education landscape and all health and safety developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. As we approach the event date, we may ultimately shift to a completely virtual event. Regardless of the event type, we are looking for energetic and engaging speakers to deliver diverse, interactive, and thought-provoking conference presentations.

Please share your expertise and experience and submit your content proposals for the CAUBO 2021 Conference and Pre-Conference Seminars that will be hosted both onsite and virtually by McGill University from May 30–June 1, 2021 at The Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal, Quebec.

Our general themes are new or best practices in higher education administration related to improved productivity and operational efficiencies, quality of service delivery, and using data to inform strategic decision-making.

For 2021, we would welcome content focused on how institutions are meeting the challenges created by the pandemic, so we can provide members with best practices that were developed during this time.

Does your idea or proposal:

  • Demonstrate innovative ideas that will enhance, transform or disrupt the administration of our institutions?
  • Encourage a dialogue about current issues and opportunities affecting university administration today?
  • Involve cross-functional collaboration or inform a national perspective?
  • Present diverse perspectives in response to trends or challenges facing higher education?

If so, we want to hear from you. Find out more about the content guidelines and how you can submit a conference presentation proposal on our website.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and connecting with you either live or virtually in Montreal in May 2021!
