Governance

There are two governing entities responsible for FBS, the FBS Management Committee and the CAUBO Board of Directors.

The FBS Management Committee ensures that FBS meets the service needs of participating institutions and regional associations and has oversight of operations, policies, and communications. The FBS Management Committee is composed of ten representatives. There are two representatives from each of four regions: Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario, and Western Canada. The ninth member is the Executive Director for CAUBO. The tenth member is a member appointed from and by the CAUBO Board.

The CAUBO Board of Directors ensures that FBS meets its responsibilities as part of the corporation and conducts its activities in a sustainable and cost-efficient manner.
