Nominations are now open for the 2026 CAUBO Recognition Awards
Many of us work with incredible, dedicated colleagues who always go above and beyond: mentoring those new to the sector or their institution; volunteering with CAUBO or other organizations to help improve higher education administration; or serving as extraordinary leaders for their team and colleagues. CAUBO honours those members who have made significant contributions to CAUBO, to our sector, or both, with our annual
Recognition Awards.
Year after year, award winners have told us how meaningful it is for them to be recognized by colleagues and peers. So, if you know someone who deserves recognition, please nominate them. The award categories in which we are seeking nominations are:
- The Emerging Leader Award, which honours up-and-coming leaders in the higher education field.
- The Ken Clements Distinguished Administrator Award, which recognizes an administrator who has made an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of higher education administration and demonstrated outstanding leadership.
- The Distinguished Service Award, which is awarded to members who have made a significant contribution to CAUBO and higher education management over a long period of time. It is given at the end of their career in university administration.
The nomination process is simple: just fill out and submit the online form. You can also include letters of support from other colleagues to bolster your nomination.
The Recognition awards ceremony takes please during the CAUBO 2026 Annual Conference in June.
The deadline for nominations is December 15, 2025.
