It’s time to submit your applications for the 2027 CAUBO Q&P Awards!

Since 1987, CAUBO has celebrated the administrative achievements of its members through the Quality and Productivity (Q&P) Awards. We like to call them the Oscars of best practices in higher education administration!
The Q&P Awards recognize practical innovations that help universities work more effectively, make better use of resources and respond to emerging challenges. Each year, the program highlights administrative initiatives across risk management and human, financial, IT and physical resources, sharing successful practices across the sector.
If you’ve got an initiative that improved a service, addressed a risk or introduced a better way of working, we encourage you to share what changed and what others can learn from your experience.
New this year
This year, we are introducing the Quality and Productivity Award for Innovation and Impact at a Small Institution as one of the program’s national prizes. It recognizes an outstanding initiative developed at an institution with less than 12,000 FTE students. The award uses the same evaluation criteria and carries the same standing as the other national prizes and will be presented only in years when a submission meets the standard for a winning initiative. Small institutions remain eligible for all Q&P awards.
